Thank you to those of you that have helped Michele by receiving services with her, she still has a minimum of 88 services left, so don't hesitate to call and reserve your time and service offering. Remember she won't get faster and perfect her craft if as a community we don't support her.

She also has a minimum of 19 Acylic Full Sets and 19 Gel Full Sets with Fill-ins to complete and the cost of those services are $17.50 because you pay for the fill-in and the fullset is FREE!

Welcome Michele to Simply Nailz! Michele has a degree in Art Education and has passion for nail art. Her travels abroad to Japan got her interested in using nails as tiny canvases...that passion for nail art is what brought her here to Simply Nailz. Visit the Art Nailz page to view images of nail art that Michele has created and book an appointment with her for services that include nail art. Since Michele is a recent graduate, she will be performing services for her first 100 clients at student rates, but with professional service.

Services that Michele will be offering include:

Acrylic or Gel Full Set -- FREE (with $17.50 Fill-In)
Manicure -- $10
Pedicure -- $18
No Chip (Shellac, gelColor by OPI, Axxium, etc) -- $17.50 & up

Her full sets will be FREE if you pre-pay for your fill-in ($17.50) and agree to return in two weeks to allow her to perfect her craft. I know its tough sometimes to want someone who is just learning something to work on you, but remember everything that you learned you had to practice and she won't get better if someone doesn't give her a chance to practice...that's why her prices are so low and especially why her her full sets are free. She has been trained to take care of your natural nails and not cause any damage so she is only learning to become more comfortable with professional only products such as OPI Absolut Acrylic and Axxium Gel Systems. With her Manis and Pedis you have nothing to worry about they are spectacular and her ability to embellish them with art is amazing...check out her Art Nailz!

I ask that you not be too critical of her as this is a learning opportunity because the schools no longer require their students to focus on artifical enhancement application and maintenance. Only the first 100 clients*** will receive this offer however, whether its a FREE full set or a discounted Mani/Pedi. And don't worry her prices won't increase by much once she's gotten closer to mastering her craft.

How Safe are No Chip Manicures?

No chip manicures are not only safe, but they are also healthy for your nails when applied and removed properly. I have read many articles and reviews where patrons of other salons have commented that they will never get another No Chip Manicure again and I am saddened because I know that it is the improper application and maintenance of the service that is causing the damage to the nails...this translates to the nail technician who is applying and removing the product improperly. So how do you know if the nail technician you are sitting in front of is licensed, professional, experienced and trust worthy?

When you visit a salon ask the following questions:

1. What No Chip Services do you offer?

2. Do you use a drill or electronic nail file on the natural nail during No Chip Services?

3. How do you remove No Chip Manicure Services?

4. What guarantees do you offer for your No Chip Services?

The most popular No Chip Services are Shellac, Gelish and OPI. Under no circumstances for any of the No Chip Services should an electronic file (drill) be used on your natual nails or the product once it is applied. During application only 99% Isopropyl Alcohol should be used, any other strength will cause the shine to be dulled or streaked. The removal of all No Chip Services should only include 10-15 minutes of your time, Removal Wraps (Shellac), cotton balls/pads, foil and 100% Pure Acetone. The use of any other acetone will cause the removal to take longer. A light buffing may be necessary to remove the sealant layer for all No Chip Manicures except Shellac.

Most importantly if they're not willing to guarantee their work for 14-Days, then they aren't experts in applying the product. Understand that there will be times when you get a chip here or the, but an experienced technician who stands behind her work and professionalism will guarantee her work and fix your nails if she's made a mistake, because we're all human so mistakes do happen.

We've expanded our hours to include walk-in times as well as online appointments. While walk-ins are walk-ins are welcome, we encourage you to email us at apptz@simplynailz.com to schedule during walk-in hours. Online appointments can be booked as late as 2 hours before the appointment howeever we ask that for Sunday and Monday appointments that you book 24 hours in advance as this day is only by online appointment at this time. Tuesday appointments and walkin-hours will open up after June 1, 2011.
