Scheduling Appointments at
Simply Nailz
At Simply Nailz we prefer appointments, but accept walk-ins as well. Currently our walk-in hours are on the weekends because it is the winter and very few people walk-in by in such cold weather during the week. That doesn't mean that you can't get an appointment at 8:30 AM or PM on a Monday night, just that we'd prefer that you call and schedule those appointments or book them online for both your convenience and that of your technician. We use an online booking service to ensure that our customers are able to book their appointments when it is convenient for them, even when we are not available, but you're still welcome to call and someone will schedule your appointment for you.
Appointments with Michele to get discounted pricing must be reserved by calling 630.829.5555 until further notice.
To ensure your satisfaction during appointment scheduling experience, we have provided a list of suggestions for booking online appointments based on the scenarios that we offer.
I came by the salon for walk-in hours but no one was there...Oh no, someone should be there for most walk-in hours unless we have appointments for mobile services during those hours
If you find you have visited the salon during walk-in hours and no one is there, please call 312.771.6341 and ask to speak with the Managr or Owner. One of them will make sure that someone is there immediately to service your needs. We do our best with staffing, but sometimes a spa party or other engagement has our staff otherwise occupied. If you call and schedule an appointment for the following day, we'll give you 5% off your total bill, even if we are running promotions.
How to Book an Appointment Online (General)
If you do not have a BWM Voucher, PayPal Payment or Gift Certificate to use for payment of services, please use this procedure.
2. Select a Service from the list of available services.
a. If you need an Acrylic Removal or Repair, book that appointment first. Then return to the services page and book your intended appointment. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we would have to include in each of the service pricing the cost of repairs and that is not fair for those who do not need repairs.
b. If want to add Shellac to an Acrylic Service, book the Shellac Add-On first, then return to the services page and book your Arcylic Service. You can also make the request and give the information in the additional information area and your appointment will be updated accordingly.
3. Select a time for your service.
4. Enter Your Details.
a. Please enter a valid email address, appointments with invalid email addresses will be cancelled.
b. Please enter a mobile phone #, to receive txt updates if we are having a scheduling issue (we're running behind or early).
5. You will receive an email notification containing the details of your appointment. The notification should contain an .ics file or calendar event which will contain the duration of your appointment.
6. PLEASE confirm your appointment by accepting the invitation. If you do not receive a calendar invitation, please email us at apptz@simplynailz.com.
7. If you are a FIRST-TIME CUSTOMER, you will receive a PayPal Money Request within 12-24 hours of your scheduled appointment. For appointments booked less than 8 hours in advance, you will receive a request as soon as possible, you payment is required a minimum of 1 hour before your appointment to avoid cancellation. If you ARE NOT a FIRST-TIME CUSTOMER, your appointment has been set and you will be notified should a schedule conflict arise.
How to Book Online and Pay with BWM Voucher
(Recommended Instructions)
2. Select a Service from the "BWM - (Mar 9-16)" category or the category that matches the purchase date on your BWM voucher. Service name should match your voucher and have prefix "BWM -".
3. On the "Your Details" Page, enter the the requested information, include your BWM Voucher # in the Additonal Info box. See image below.

How to Book Online and Pay with PayPal
(Recommended Instructions)
1. Click the book online button above or click here. Please enter your email address so that you will get a notification about your appointment, you'll need it later. Your email address IS REQUIRED!
2. Once you have booked online you will need to return to the PayPal Promotions page and purchase the item that matches your booking e.g. if you booked a "Shattered Manicure", then you would select the "Shattered Manicure". If you have purchased one of our subscriptions, you will only need to provide your paypal details once, verification of the subscription will be managed by our staff after the first appointment.
3. After completing the check out process with PayPal, send your name and appointment confirmation # along with your PayPal confirmation # to apptz@simplynailz.com.
4. Bring your PayPal receipt with you the day of your appointment, it will be used to verify that you are the person who made the purchase.
How to Book Online with a Gift Certificate
(Recommended Instructions)
1. Click the book online button above or click here. Select the service that matches your Gift Certificate. If you received a gift certificate for a "Basic Mani/Pedi", then look for the "Basic Mani/Pedi Gift Certificate" service on the online booking tool.
2. Please enter your email address so that you will get a notification about your appointment, you'll need it later. Your email address IS REQUIRED!
3. In the additonal information box, include the gift certificate number.
4. After submitting your appointment request, you're done. If you forgot to enter you Gift Certificate information then send your name and appointment confirmation # along with your Gift Certificate # to apptz@simplynailz.com.
5. Bring your Gift Certificate with you the day of your appointment, it will be used to verify that you are the person who made the purchase/appointment.
Why do we have to Pre-Pay for the FIRST Appointment
It only takes one bad apple to spoil a bunch...
While online booking is great it does come with its own share of problems. Namely people creating fake bookings or booking an appointment and not showing. This is particularly an issue for clients that we have not seen before because we have not built a relationship with them.
Since opening we have had several online bookings where the person did not show for the appointment and did not answer our phone calls when we called to confirm the appointment. Requiring that every first time client pre-pay for their services gives us peace of mind and you as well. Once the payment notification is received your technician will be notified of your appointment so that you have a guaranteed spot for that day. If you are booking your appointment the same day, someone will call or email you to confirm your appointment.
Sometimes we don't get the request out in time and so the technician will be at the salon anyway, just in case. But our policy is if you do not arrive within 15 minutes of your appointment your technician is not obligated to stay. If you did not confirm your appointment either with the PayPal Payment or via email communication for appointments booked 24 hrs in advance, then your technician is not obligated to arrive. Because we are not always able to return phone calls or retrieve messages the same day as they are left, we ask that you email apptz@simplynailz.com should you have need to cancel your appointment or confirm that you will arrive late.
